Congratulations to Evelyn Shea, Megan Brown, and Breann Allen, who were selected by our independent selection committee from a dynamic group of applicants. They are awarded the 2009 Invest in Others scholarship, worth $1,000-$2,000 for the 2010 school year.

Evelyn Shea’s $1,000 is given by Gwen Haggerty on behalf of the Ted and Jane VonVoigtlander Foundation and  is a Freshmen at the University of Michigan Nursing school. Evelyn is the granddaughter of clients Gil and Alice Dean.

Breann Allen is a freshman at Grand Valley State University, also studying Nursing, and will receive $2,000 from Park Avenue. Breann is the daughter of clients Carey and Debra Allen. Megan Brown will also receive $2,000 from Park Avenue, and is a Freshman at the University of Michigan in the School of Engineering. Megan is the daughter of Teresa Brown and granddaughter of Wanda Caruso.
